Pie Bird Bakeshop is looking for a super friendly, upbeat, pie lover to sell whole pies/slice at the University District Farmers Market on Saturdays! Eat pie, make friends, and earn some money in Seattle's largest and oldest farm-and-food only market.
The salesperson must pick up the company pickup our truck in Beacon Hill at 6:30, swing by our commercial kitchen SODO to grab the pies, and then head to the University District Farmers Market. They will then set up the pie stand and sell pies between 9am-2pm. After the market ends at 2pm, the salesperson packs up and heads back to the commercial kitchen to wash utensils. They are typically finished and back in Beacon Hill by 4pm.
This job does require some heavy lifting during the set up. The employee must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 5 hours. An ideal candidate also has a good driving record and a WA state food handlers card.
