Job Title: Entry Level Restaurant Team Member
Location: 6615 E Marginal Way S, Seattle, WA 98108
Hours: 15-30 hrs/week
Compensation: $25/hour
Job Description:
Matt's Hot Dogs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic crew member to join our team at our location in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests while contributing to the friendly atmosphere found at Matt’s. Matt's is open Monday - Friday from 10 am - 8 pm so you'll never work late nights and you'll never work weekends. The hours are flexible— we will meet you with where you’re at and what you can work. Can only work 15-20 hours a week? Not a problem. We’d love to have you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Be a team player and effective communicator with all members of the team
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours
