Housekeeper
IMMEDIATE HIRE
Beautiful historic lodge located just outside the Nesqually entrance of Mt. Rainier. Perfect for someone who desires a change of scenery, e.g., peaceful living, fresh mountain air, hiking at Mt Rainier and other parks nearby.
Previous housekeeping skills preferred, but not required.
Duties Required of Housekeeping (working hours – around 30 hrs per week)
Make sure each room is to the lodge’s standard: nicely made beds, symmetrical hanging of towels, spotless bathrooms, wipe down mini fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, dusting, vacuuming, laundry (clean, dry and fold), report or replace any broken or outage fixtures, vacuuming hallways, sweeping outdoor patios, keeping the laundry facility stocked and tidy.
In addition, day(s) that you are listed as on-call (according to the schedule), you will need to wait until the front desk informs whether or not you will be needed that particular day.
Hours are usually from 9am-3:30 (sometimes a bit less – depending on which rooms, suites or cabins you are assigned to for that day.
PERKS TO THE JOB:
Live on site
Accommodations: bungalow is small, but you would have your own private living quarters, which includes: a tiny kitchenette with a sink with a stainless steel countertop and a couple of shelves (serves as both your bathroom and kitchen sink). In addition, microwave, refrigerator with freezer (not a mini fridge), twin size bed with bedding, but you’re welcome to bring your own linens, ac and heating, wall mountain tv, and wifi.
NO cable, internet, gas, electric or rent to pay!
Washer and dryer facilities are inside the main lodge
Pet friendly (smaller dog or cat). Must clean up after your pet.
Once you have finished your housekeeping duties for the day, you have the entire rest of the day to sit back and relax!

At least two professional references (not friends)
Your own reliable transportation
Able to pass a background check
A genuinely positive and respectful attitude towards staff and guests is a MUST. NO DRAMA
Key Notes:
No guest overnight stays in your bungalow (best suited for single living)
No requesting days off – as we are just entering the high season, so all hands on deck.
Seasonal job – ends at the end of October 2025. Best for light packers.
