We are an independently owned extended stay apartment (and a great team to work with) in the Bellevue area looking to expand our team. If you're looking for a great company, have a positive attitude, and provide great customer service then we would love you to join our team!

We are looking to hire a Housekeeper at our Downtown Bellevue location. The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of our apartment homes, corridors, elevator, and all assigned areas for the property. They are also responsible for performing daily laundry and sanitation of towels and linens as well.

We are hiring for 1 housekeeper position:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Essential Functions:

Attend all required property meeting and training.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with our standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the property.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag.

Comply with company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property operations.

The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and tenants is a necessary skill for the position.

Day to Day:

Employees at all times must be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all tenants, vendors, managers and fellow employees.

Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.

Clean and sanitize tenant apartment homes. Vacuums and sweeps floors, carpets, and rugs. Make beds and changes linens. Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, and countertops. Cleans and sanitizes kitchens, sinks, appliances, and countertops.

Use a daily checklist to complete projects listed as assigned (Elevator lobbies, Furniture, Elevator doors/frames, Service landing/linen closets, Stairwells, Polish floors, Other projects as assigned by management).

Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow employees, and self.

Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the property standards.

At the end of the shift, turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Report maintenance issues to the Leasing Staff and Maintenance Supervisor.

Pick up any dirty linen or trash as needed.

Before leaving the section, collect all trash from the service landings and take to/dispose in outside trash dumpsters, per property procedures.

Vacuum guest corridors.

Deliver any clean linen to assigned sections, if applicable.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells.

Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Approach all encounters with tenants and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Required Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Physical Demands:

Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.

Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Ability to stand during the entire shift.

Position Type: Full-time

Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work daily.

Work Authorization: The employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
