Are you a dynamic and experienced leader with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences in a vibrant and inclusive environment? Join our team as the General Manager of a popular queer bar in the heart of Capitol Hill, where every night is a celebration!

About Us:

Our iconic queer bar is at the forefront of Seattle's LGBTQ+ nightlife, offering a unique blend of entertainment, diversity, and a welcoming atmosphere. From exhilarating burlesque performances to dazzling drag shows featuring celebrity guests, we pride ourselves on being a hub for creativity and self-expression.

Position Overview:

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our establishment. You'll be at the helm of a fun and fast-paced environment, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door. From managing the bar and restaurant services to coordinating diverse events, you'll be a key player in maintaining our reputation as a premier queer destination.

Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and compliance with regulations.

Event Coordination: Work closely with the events team to plan and execute a variety of activations, including burlesque and drag shows featuring celebrity guests.

Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a diverse team of talented individuals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Customer Experience: Uphold high standards of customer service, creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, inventory, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on bars and restaurants.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Knowledge of LGBTQ+ culture and a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of bar and restaurant regulations and compliance.
