The AAA Four Diamond Arctic Club Seattle - a DoubleTree by Hilton, is seeking qualified candidates to fill our part time Night Auditor and part time Front Desk Agent position. We are located in the heart of downtown Seattle's financial district. A landmark Seattle hotel, rich in history and beautifully restored to provide the best in contemporary Doubletree hospitality.

Front Desk Agent starts at $16.25 ($0.75 increase after 90 days!)

Schedule: Varies (7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm)

Qualified Candidates will have:

- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

- The ability to stand for 8 hours consecutively without assistance.

- A minimum of a year of hotel experience or customer service experience preferred.

This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work all days of the week, including weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The position requires the ability to perform the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:

o Answering telephones and responding to requests are routine functions of this position.

o Promotes outstanding guest relations and performs other duties as assigned.

o Executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest checkin and check-out.

o Addresses questions or problems pertaining to Hotel rooms and rates.

o Maintains room security by providing effective key control and participates in matters relating to customer room security.

o Ensures that customer mail and messages are delivered promptly by overseeing mail and message delivery functions.

o Promotes participation in frequent guest program, and guest satisfaction surveys.

o Follows room inventory and monetary controls.

o Responds to and follows through with guest requests, exceeding expectations, following up with guest to ensure needs and expectations are met.

o Handles any guest compliments or complaints and act deemed necessary.

o Handles cash transactions and keeps a balanced bank.

o Prepares and processes end of day procedures.

Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Maintains safe working conditions within department and Hotel.
