We're a woman owned and family operated specialty mini donut food truck. We make fresh, hot mini donuts, coffee and handcrafted Italian sodas and beverages. Preparing for the busy Spring and Summer season, we are looking for fun, vibrant team members to help make drinks and work the front counter of our busy food truck.
## The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team. You'll be the face of our brand, engaging with customers, and delighting them with delicious treats that leave folks smiling and kids beaming. We are professionals with a background in tech, marketing and business. We will teach you many skills to use on the job and beyond.
##Hours & Compensation
We work festivals, events, and farmers markets typically Thursday - Sunday, 8am-2pm (and some evenings) starting now through September.
Hourly + generous tips (tips paid same day)
Free mini donuts (of course!)
## You'll Be Great For This Role If You Are:
Naturally Outgoing: You find it easy to strike up conversations with strangers and genuinely enjoy meeting new people & possibly giving the occasional hug
Physically Capable: Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, move with intention
Anticipate What Needs to be Done: Able to see what needs to be done and take action. We are always restocking, cleaning, refilling frosting and sprinkle containers, refilling cups and packaging, doing dishes, and prepping to make the area organized and ready for the next rush, etc.
Reliable: Our events and commitments happen rain or shine - we need someone who shows up consistently
Energetic: Our events are fast-paced and require stamina and enthusiasm throughout
Quick Learner: Ready to absorb information about our mini donuts and beverages and share it authentically
## Bonus Points If:
You have previous barista, event, farmers market, retail, or food service experience
You love mini donuts, Italian sodas, and people!
You speak multiple languages
You have your food handler's permit (not required, we can help you get certified)
