Summary -
This job splits its time between driving and warehouse responsibilities.
Drivers use company vans and trucks to pick up, sort, and deliver fruits, veggies, and other local food items. Routes start and end at our South Seattle warehouse and go throughout the Greater Seattle-Bellevue-Tacoma area. Deliveries to customers are done throughout the week to both wholesale locations and direct-to-consumer homes. Routes last between 4 to 8 hours.
Warehouse Aggregators/Packers portion items from big cases to retail sizing, sort wholesale orders, and help keep the warehouse clean. Packing grocery orders can mean working in the walk-in fridge for several hours and boxes can weigh 50 lbs+.
Attention to details and following systems are keys to success in this role.

Qualifications Required
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive standard cargo van in all weather conditions (e.g. rain, snow, sleet)
Willingness to learn to drive longer vehicles (i.e. 20'-25' vans and box trucks)
Cell phone with data plan and understanding of Navigation apps (Google Maps, Maps, Waze)
Read, write, and speak English
Ability to work standing for 6+ hours
Ability to drive routes for up to 8 hours
Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
Preferred —
1-2 years of food delivery experience to homes/restaurants
Familiarity driving a 16ft box truck
Ability to quickly problem solve and keep a positive attitude when circumstances change
Familiarity with a warehouse environment
Familiarity with local food and produce varieties
Excellent attention to detail
Excited to be part of a team
