Staff Accountant

Description There's currently a position available through Robert Half at a growing Non-Profit firm for an efficient, accurate Staff Accountant. Based in the Seattle, Washington region, this company offers an engaging and mulit-faceted short-term contract / contract opportunity where effort is rewarded. The Staff Accountant plays a major role in the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. A very involved position, this role produces Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. You'll also have responsibility over various aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will also communicate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, play an active role in compliance, and review schedules for the reporting processes.
