Promotion Discovery team is focused on continuously improving the end-to-end point-of-sale discounts promotional shopping experience for customers worldwide. The team will both (1) drive products and features that surface promotions to shoppers through simplified UIs that focus on high-value actions and (2) improve the Promotions Platform in ways that allows Amazon teams to easily leverage promotion information for their businesses. Promotion Discovery strives to raise the bar on discoverability, eligibility, and redemption of personalized promotions. Promotion Discovery is a key component in the Amazon eCommerce Foundation.As the Promotion Discovery software development manager, you will own and influence the architecture and technical strategy of the team. You will interact with business and technical leaders, gather customer feedback, and build out your roadmap. You will drive engineering best practices, set standards for operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement. - Experience partnering with product OR program management teams
- 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
- 3+ years of experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
