Puget Sound Puppers LLC is currently looking for a Part-Time Dog Walker to serve the West Seattle area that is committed to giving the gold standard service to each individual dog. Current need is primarily for Tuesday through Thursday each week, with the opportunity for more days/hours (up to 15-20 hours/week) after the first 90 days.

Compensation:
Starting at $20-23/hr, 5-10 hours/week, depending on experience & availability
Increases in hours and pay come with demonstration of reliability & quality work
Monthly Gas Stipend
Paid Time Off for sick days or vacation (accumulates starting from hire, can be used after 90 days)
$100 REI gift card for poor weather gear offered after 90 days

Job Duties:
Tailor every 15-60 minute appointment to meet the physical activity needs and/or limitations of each dog
Safely drive to each client's place of residence
Address behavioral issues with our Pupper clients using humane, reward-based training methods
Communicate with human clients using a tone that is professional and conveys warmth
Change the world, one Pupper at a time.
Required Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
Be available 10am-2pm, Tuesday through Thursday
Be comfortable standing and walking (occasionally up and down hills and stairs) for up to 4 hours at a time
Meet the physical challenges of working with dogs that can lunge, pull, and jump
Own a smartphone that supports the current version of your mobile OS & display proficiency in using it
Own a reliable motorized vehicle (car, scooter, or motorcycle) and have proof of insurance
Have an attitude that always strives to improve performance and increase understanding of dog behavior and other areas of knowledge associated with the duties of the job
