Job description:-We are looking for a seasoned distinguished Program Manager to establish a new roadmap execution playbook and lead the product release governance and coordination mechanisms across multiple Domains. This leader will be charged with driving teams to deliver on shared goals, driving programs from conceptualization to release, raising and clarifying blockers versus goals.

Responsibilities of Program Manager – IT at Expedia
  • Develop cross organizational playbooks. Drive governance mechanisms that instill the right rhythm for the business
  • Own the overall product roadmap communication, status reporting, and transparency in prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Create alignment on the roadmap both internally and with key external partners
  • Establish business processes and policies as well as metrics and indicators for success
  • Drive product releases from ideation to development to launch
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Requirements for Program Manager – IT at Expedia
  • 15+ years of experience in program management, technical program management and B2B release management
  • MBA or Master’s Degree
  • Experience in driving Software Development Kits (SDKs) release management
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs, managing roadmaps across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with end-to-end technical product delivery playbooks, especially overseeing roadmap resourcing and empowering product and engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product release or organizational goal.
  • coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
  • Experience with SDKs, two sided platforms and development release management tools
