In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development of new policies and processes, shaping the future of our technology landscape.The Core Platform Engineering team is responsible for key technology products that enable Chase businesses.This includes a microservices framework that enhances security, controls, and data management, an Environment as Code platform simplifying how we manage and govern cloud resources. Additionally, we develop an analytics and governance tool for all products and an API management platform that supports developers both within Chase and externally. The scope includes technical program management and influencing across multiple products and lines of business, interfacing with the Finance Partner, Security and Controls leads, Communications Partner, HR Partner, Employee groups (culture council) and other functions.Job responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration

Oversee complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes

Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency

Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies

Develop the strategic priorities for Core Platform Engineering, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-suite and other senior leaders

Collaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, product, human resources, communications, marketing)

Scope and structure projects

Lead teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions and quantify potential impact to the business

Develop junior team members both formally and informally

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations

Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions

Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives

Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments

Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives

Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions

Showcase Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills - ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources

Display a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

Demonstrate Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

Experience in Product Delivery or exposure to Technology or Platform products is a plus
