DescriptionAs Principal Technical Program Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives focused on transforming emerging opportunities into market-ready products. This senior-level position drives innovation by identifying, evaluating, and operationalizing new technical possibilities across the organization. You will orchestrate complex programs that span multiple business entities, working closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation.Key job responsibilities

Lead early-stage program development, translating conceptual opportunities into concrete, executable initiatives.

Drive strategic technical decisions and product roadmap development in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across business units, technical teams, and external partners.

Define and implement processes for evaluating and prioritizing new opportunities.

Guide programs through various stages of maturity, from conception to productization.

Develop comprehensive program strategies that align with business objectives and technical capabilities.

Manage complex dependencies and risks across multiple workstreams and organizations.

Create and maintain program governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery and quality.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience

7+ years of technical product or program management experience

5+ years of software development experience

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
