Network Engineer - DC Networking, IS Core

SUMMARYThe Data Centers Network Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of our large enterprise network. As a member of a Data Centers' Networking Team, you will be asked to design and integrate computer networks which enable data transfer and communications between different computer systems, online networks and databases.  To do this work you should be able to configure, support and troubleshoot the Expeditors global and local networks. These network connections are the bedrock of Expeditors branch and Data Center infrastructure and global operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBe a collaborative member of a highly motivated and agile teamDevelop and maintain self-service technology and monitoring systemsApply technical skills in the design, development, integration, and testing of networking componentsInstalling and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewallsWork with the Cyber Security Team to develop, implement and maintain industry standard security practicesConducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardwareThis position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability.
