Washington, Seattle-tacoma, 98101 Seattle-tacoma USA

Vacancy caducado!

About the roleIn-car advertising is a new business within Uber. The focus for the business and this role is using in-car tablets to engage riders by providing them contextually relevant information, functionality, content, and advertising that together improve their overall experience. In-car tablets improve the Uber driver experience as well, enabling drivers to share in the advertising revenue generated from their trips and also benefit from an increase in rider tips. What you will doIn this role, you will be the lead product manager for this program and oversee all of the product and technical aspects of scaling this new, lucrative revenue stream for Uber and our driver partners. You will develop and execute on the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all aspects of this program including the driver acquisition and engagement program, technology strategy (hardware, device software, services), and the rider's tablet experience (content, functionality, advertising). You will be responsible for designing the advertisement offering including formats and capabilities. You'll have a strong hand in developing early product-market fit for this program for drivers, riders, and advertisers, and then scaling the program across current markets and then globally. You could be a strong fit for this role if you:

Are highly independent and proactive. You don't wait to be told what to do or given permission to act. You independently identify what needs to be done for you and your products to be successful, and you take the right actions to get those things done, either yourself or through others.

Are recognized as a great communicator. You obsess over continually improving your communication skills and use the right blend of narrative, logical arguments, and data to communicate effectively to diverse audiences including executives, internal and external partners, or your teammates.

Act as an owner. If something goes wrong, you display ownership by fixing it or getting someone else to fix it. If something goes right, you forward the credit to your team or partner teams.

Are equally at home at strategic or tactical levels. You are experienced and senior enough to craft and socialize product strategy effectively, but still relish getting in the details of requirements, implementation, user experience, or operational data.

See ambiguity as opportunity. You don't need things to be calm and organized. You don't shy away from a challenge. You get fulfillment by tackling areas of ambiguity, creating a plan, marshaling resources, and spurring execution. You recognize that not all problems can be solved quickly or completely, and persevere even in the face of obstacles.
