Description Sr. Project Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited too: Exercise plumbing knowledge Assist and support the lead Project Manager(s) and site Superintendent(s) with all phases of the assigned construction project(s) in accordance with contract requirements and specifications Demonstrate working knowledge and practical application of all project plans, specs, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittals, and all other project-related documentation Cultivate subcontractor and supplier relationships Coordinate and collaborate with preconstruction efforts with emphasis on estimating projects Coordinate and collaborate with project teams Maintain regular interface and open communication at all levels Interface regularly with team members, owners, architects, and engineers to ensure complete understanding of the project scope Research and analyze historical project data for application to current project Assist in project scheduling Ideal Sr. Project Engineer profile includes: Associates or Bachelor's degree in a Construction related field or equivalent field experience Minimum 3 years of construction management or coordination experience; previous plumbing mechanical project experience in highly desired Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects Detail oriented, sufficient enough to organize and manage multiple project tasks Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Microsoft O365, MS Project, MS Teams and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level; experience with Viewpoint, BlueBeam, WinEst, On-Screen Takeoff, BIM, RS Means and/or MCA helpful Not a must, but ideally from the Seattle area Client is one of the premier multifamily and assisted living mechanical contractors in the Seattle area.
