I am looking for a local designer : mechE or similar because I have been wanting to design and open source a small format humanoid for AI developers to use to prototype their projects. For some reason I am having a hard time finding anyone with the skill and motivation to help build : design the platform. I have a design for a robot already. There are a number of people online who are offering CAD design (talked to them on UpWork etc) but I don't think the right approach is trying to farm it out on such platforms. I would rather meet with someone local and brainstorm through it.
The goal here is to come up with a shared open source platform that can be used globally to prototype micro-humanoid robots. This would be interesting for someone who wants to have a very large impact on the state of robotics development. Ideal person would probably be design minded, trained in MechE.
