Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

We are a very busy, small animal, one doctor practice seeking a friendly and helpful part-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist. Must be available 2-6:30-Monday through Thursday, and have their own transportation, self-motivating, not afraid to get a little dirty or hairy. This position will help with escorting pets to and from kennels, holding pets during treatments, must be able to hold 30 lbs., setting up for labs, weigh animals, help with getting medications, prepping for surgeries, learn how to clean instruments, laundry and general cleaning where needed. This position will also learn how to answer phones, do reminder calls, and be able to type quickly while scheduling appointments, faxing, and filing. Compensation starts at $17.00.
