Receptionist Needed – Thurs–Fri (9:30am–7:00pm) and Saturdays half days – Reliable, Professional, Self-Starter
We are a busy, well-established salon looking for a dependable and professional Receptionist to join our team. This position is Thursday through Saturday from 9:30am to 7:00pm. Currently we close at 3 on Saturdays, but will resume full hours soon. Additional administrative hours possibly on Mondays. Must be willing to fill in on occasion for our other receptionist if needed.
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual – timeliness is essential
Accountable and takes pride in their work
Able to work independently and stay productive without constant oversight
A strong communicator, especially in professional texts and emails
A self-starter with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greeting and checking in clients with a welcoming attitude
Assisting with appointment booking and retail purchases
Handling checkout procedures accurately and efficiently
Inventory management (counting, restocking, ordering)
Light cleaning and laundry
General upkeep to maintain a clean, professional environment
We’ve had issues in the past with lateness and lack of follow-through, so we’re specifically seeking someone who takes their responsibilities seriously and understands the importance of being the first and last point of contact for our clients.
