Siltec USA is searching for a Customer Service Representative to add to the team. Siltec USA is a growing company that sells and supplies stainless steel cable trays to distributors, contactors, food and beverage industry, robotics, maritime, and more. Due to the growth of the business we are looking to add a full-time person who would work primarily(but not limited to) in an office setting and would back-up other team mates as needed.

Here at Siltec we have an upbeat atmosphere and we work as a team to handle the work load and help resolve problems. Some days can be very busy and some days can be slow, so we all help when we are needed and stay proactive when there are not immediate tasks to take care of.

This position would consist of the following:

1) Confirm POs from customers, checking pricing and communicating with them about the shipment as well as sending shipping confirmations out.

2) Setting up freight and parcel shipments for orders, creating BOLs and Shipping labels.

3) Communicating with the other branch of Siltec about inventory and other needs.

4) Communicating with customers about purchase orders, delivery time frame, inventory, etc.

5) Product knowledge and helping customer select the right products for their application

6) Quoting new and existing customers.

7) Seeking new potential customers, talking with new customers about Siltec and our products and helping them understand the benefit of our products.

8) Setting customers up with new accounts for ordering.

9) Receiving stock shipments, counting the stock, and putting the hardware and trays in the homes.

10) Packaging of parcel shipments and sample kits.

11) May also include working in the warehouse if there is much to do out there and not much to do in the office.

12) Warehouse consists of building pallets, loading freight orders, using power tools like saws and drills, cutting trays and deburring them with a wire wheel brush, and other warehouse needs.

13) Other tasks.

Ideally, this position would lead to an Inside Sales/management position down the road, as the company grows and positions move around. This would entail what is already being done with quoting and helping customers select the right products, but would also include traveling to Tradeshows to work our booth creating new sales leads, traveling to meet with sales reps and customers, training new sales reps, and calling on new customers or large projects.

Qualities:

Good with communication, friendly and easy to work with, punctual, proactive when there aren’t immediate tasks to be done, honest, positive demeanor.

Requirements:

1) Must be comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excell and Outlook email.

2) Must have good general computer skills

3) Must be able to lift 50 pounds

4) Must be able to work Full time Monday- Friday starting at 8AM.

5) Background check will be done.

6) No drugs/alcohol abuse.
