Small accounting, tax and bookkeeping office looking for a bookkeeper/payroll clerk.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping duties, including posting information to Quickbooks and QBO
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy
Report Department of Revenue filings on cash basis
Renewal of business licenses, reseller permits, Secretary of State for LLC's for clients
Payroll Processing including new hire, reporting, direct deposit, set up, etc.
Quarterly payroll filings including all Federal and State filings
Provide administrative support to management when required
Answer multi-lined phone system
Requirements and Qualifications:
1-3 Years Bookkeeping and Payroll Experience a must including quarterly filings for payroll
Experience in QuickBooks software in both Desktop and QBO
Experience using Excel (Microsoft 365)
Attention to detail, articulate and confident in asking questions
Able to keep records and files organized
Excellent communication skills
Willing to follow directions and also work independently
Strong time management skills with respect for deadlines
