Position: Windows Systems Admin Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA 98052 Duration: 3-6 month CTH If you are interested in this position please email your resume to Victoria Conley at vconley@apexsystems.com. MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of experience as a systems administrator in a windows environment
- VLANs/logical firewalls
- Clustering - Load balancing/resource sharing
- Active Directory - make a new tree/import from existing and make new GPO's (group policy object)
- virtualization - Hyper-V
- cloud computing - working knowledge of creating new VM's in Azure
- Automation scripting (Powershell preferred but open to others)
- Experience performing server updates, patching, and maintenance
- Professional demeanor and appearance; look presentable and speak professionally as they are interfacing with executives
- High level of customer service
- Linux experience
- Kubernetes
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or 3+ years of datacenter work experience.
- Certifications
- AV trends & networking principals. (audio visual)
- Mentoring/training of JR team
