Job Title: AccountantJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Manage and optimize the accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate recording of vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card submissions. Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations. Collaborate with employees and vendors to streamline credit card submissions and expense report processing. Support the processing of checks, wires, electronic funds transfers, and daily bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate records in our electronic invoice filing system and manage W9 documentation in partnership with Accounting and Procurement teams. Assist with state and local tax filings and other statutory requirements.Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, or financial reporting, ideally in the manufacturing, energy, or technology sectors
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
