The University of Idaho Counseling and Testing Center (CTC) is searching for an Administrative Assistant. The primary responsibility is to manage core reception duties within the Counseling & Testing Center which include scheduling of mental health appointments, coding appointments and uploading mental health assessment information in the electronic medical records system (EMR) and managing client information in accordance with state and federal confidentiality laws. The position includes administrative duties such as coordination of services related to mental health, crisis appointments, groups, and other mental health services.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Experience providing excellent customer service; using a computer to enter, retrieve, organize, and process information Experience in a busy professional workplace, adjusting to frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Experience learning and consistently applying detailed procedures, instructions, and regulations Experience organizing and planning, including coordinating and maintaining multiple schedules Experience communicating and interacting in a positive and confident manner with diverse groups Experience creating, composing, and editing written and electronic material with attention to detail Experience prioritizing multiple communications via phone, email, online chat, and in-person Not currently enrolled as a student with the University of Idaho Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree Experience providing professional services in an outpatient mental health clinic Experience managing client mental health records and other client information in accordance with state and federal confidentiality laws. Experience working with an electronic medical records system.
