Wildlife Rehabilitator

Washington, Olympic peninsula 00000 Olympic peninsula USA

Vacancy caducado!

Full or Part-time Wildlife Rehabilitator (or Wildlife Rehab Apprentice) to join our team of dedicated employees and volunteers on the Olympic Peninsula of the Pacific Northwest. We are a well-established non-profit (over 20 years) providing safe harbor for injured, abandoned or abused animals. We work closely with Fish and Wildlife, Animal Control, and other local rescues. We find loving homes for all adoptable animals, give permanent sanctuary to unadoptable domestic animals, and run a successful release program for rehabilitated wild animals and birds.

Your work with us will include a wide variety of large and small animal species in a never-boring, sometimes exciting combination of rehabilitation tasks and responsibilities, indoors and out. You will work side by side with our licensed director in a fully equipped in-house medical center and dedicated wildlife enclosures. Occasionally you will go on scene with our team to rescue or to release rehabilitated animals.

If your first dedication is to helping animals; if you are a hard-working, can-do person; if you love new experiences and working with a group of like-minded, appreciative and fun people; this job could be your dream come true. We offer a competitive starting salary based on experience and we provide opportunities for career enhancement and promotion.
