Jefferson County Public Works seeks a full-time (40 hrs/week) Fleet Mechanic II or III. Responsibilities include servicing vehicles and equipment for Public Works, Sheriffs Office, and other county departments at the Port Hadlock Roads shop, in the field, or other County facilities.
Mechanic II: Grade A7-B: Starting pay $29.28/hr. to $35.00/hr. DOE; High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years’ experience including auto, heavy equipment and/or truck; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanic III: Grade A7-C: Starting pay: $31.65/hr. to $37.82/hr. DOE; High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years’ experience including auto, heavy equipment and/or truck, and/or welding and fabrication; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
