Adjunct faculty salary for the 2024-2025 fiscal year is $1,131.00- $1,154.00 per credit hour, as listed in theCBA{tabindex="0" rel="nofollow"}(Download PDF reader){target="blank" rel="nofollow noopener"}(Download PDF reader){tabindex="0" target="blank" rel="nofollow noopener"}.South Puget Sound Community College{tabindex="0" rel="nofollow"}seeks candidates for a 13-credit part-time/adjunct positionteaching early afternoon or evening coursesin the Automotive Department. This position is effectiveDecember 1, 2024,and is renewed quarterly, depending on enrollment and demand.

These positions are expected to have 20 hours of student contact-facing teaching hours per week.

The instructor should be able to teach and guide students in the diagnosis and repair of passenger cars and light trucks in both lecture and lab settings.As a reminder,the teaching assignments will be in the early afternoon or evening hours.This recruitment is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications stated below. Applications received by the closing date will be used to create an applicant pool that may be used to fill similar vacancies at the College, which may occur over the next 6-9 months.
