Culbert Construction Inc. is a Heavy Civil and Infrastructure General Contractor that has been successfully contracting in the Eastern Washington for 27 years. We are looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to work with our team. Please refer to all requirements needed below before submitting your resume.
Must be proficient at the following:
Digging mainline sewer, water and storm in existing roadway.
Team leadership
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Work safely by yourself and with others.
Clean driving record.
Great attitude, team focused, helpful, willingness to mentor others.
Reporting needs to management.
Precise record keeping.
Thorough knowledge of soil types, test reports and compaction methods.
Temperament and experience Requirements.
Five years' experience digging mainline in municipal roadways.
Municipal road reconstruct.
Infrastructure upgrade installing new water, sewer, storm mains and laterals.
New construction (Subdivision)
Experience working around existing utilities.
Reading and interrupting plans and specs.
Complete understanding of all types of heavy equipment utilized in road and utility construction.
Experienced in excavations more than 10 feet, capable of operating 3 or more pieces of equipment at
optimum production and efficiency while safely excavating around underground and overhead utilities.
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to trench safety.
Often leads teams of 3 or more in completing tasks, acts as alternate Foreman for short duration projects,
Work safely by yourself and with others
A great team first attitude
Five years of employment in this capacity
Must be proficient in reading plans and specs
GPS experience a plus
Driving Requirements
Clean driving record
CDL is a plus.
