Job Summary: Ensure trucks get loaded with the correct product and all drivers are equipped with all paperwork, safe equipment, and routes to maximize service to customers and branches in a safe and timely manner.
Duties include:
Set up weekly routes for all drivers operating from assigned branch.
Download and email daily rail reports.
Track and release all rail cars of incoming products.
Input and print invoices for all delivery routes.
Set up load lists for the next day’s loads town routes.
Take phone orders from customers and branches.
Gather the previous day’s invoices and paperwork; sort and turn-in as needed.
Assist with LTL shipments and scheduling.
Manage lime removal from acetylene plant.
Monitor telemetry and dispatch delivery trucks for customers supported from assigned branches.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
Requirements include:
Class A CDL with HazMat preferred.
Supervisory training preferred.
Able to drive a forklift, operate hand truck, and pallet jack.
Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience.
Must be organized and have good time management skills.
Drug screen and background check required.
Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $27.00/hr.-DOE (depending on experience). (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $27.00/hr.-$32.00/hr.) Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and location.
