HVAC Air Duct Cleaning Technician Helper
BF Power Vac is immediately hiring for an air duct cleaning helper position. BF Power Vac is a locally and family owned company where customer satisfaction and quality work are our top priorities! Starting pay is $14.50/hour. This position can gain you the experience to move up to a technician position with a higher pay. Retirement benefit and paid time off begin at one year of continuous employment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up duct cleaning hoses and airlines as well as getting proper tools for technician at each jobsite.
Cleaning registers and any other tasks the technician assigns.
Upon completion of each job you will need to put all hoses, tools and supplies back in their proper location in the truck.
Responsible for making sure all tools and supplies are accounted for by walking back through and thoroughly checking all areas to verify nothing is left behind.
Qualifications:
Great attitude, courteous & respectful with our customers.
Detail oriented with safety in mind at all times.
Be able to follow a strict dress and hygiene code. Facial hair must be kept neat, earrings are not allowed to be worn during work time and tattoos must be covered.
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly.
Be comfortable in confined spaces (attics and crawl spaces).
Able to work in hot/cold attic spaces and on rooftops.
Working on scissor lifts/genie booms at high levels.
Be comfortable working off a ladder and with heights.
Can work with arms overhead for extended periods of time.
Can work under pressure yet maintain excellent quality of work.
Keep work area/vehicle clean and organized at all times.
WA drivers license, good driving record & reliable vehicle.
Pass a complete background check to be able to work at prison, school, government and nuclear sites & willing to be drug tested. Background checks are required each time we are on one of these sites.
Work Schedule: VARIES! Typically Monday through Friday 7:15 am till work is completed for the day. Also must be available to work some weekends and nights (we give advanced notice of any weekend work scheduled).
