Cylinder Maintenance-Swing Shift

OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 21 stores in WA, ID and OR.

Job Summary: Prioritize daily testing on cylinders according to established procedures. Prep and paint cylinders and follow manufacturer’s guidelines.

Duties include:

 Valve and de-valve cylinders.

 Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance.

 General maintenance of cylinders.

 Maintain a safe and clean work area.

 Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards.

 Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.

 Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.

Requirements include:

 General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use.

 Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills.

 Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications.

 Able to work independently.

 Able to lift/move 80 lbs.

 Work Environment-some outside.

 Must pass drug screen and background check.

Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $19.00/hr.-Swing Shift. (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position is $18.00/hr.-$24.00/hr.)
