Practice Administrator – Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates (BFOA)

Location: Tri-Cities, Washington

Employer: United Specialists-Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates

United Specialists is seeking an experienced, authentic, and bold healthcare professional for a full-time opportunity as Administrator of Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates (BFOA). This is a unique chance to lead a legacy clinic—recognized as the Tri-Cities’ center of excellence for orthopedic care, podiatry, and interventional pain management—at the edge of explosive growth. We’re looking for a dynamic leader who can inspire and unify the team, guiding the organization through its next phase of expansion with clarity, energy, and purpose.

About BFOA

Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates (BFOA) is a respected, physician-owned medical group that has served the Tri-Cities community for over 30 years. The practice includes 10 providers: six physicians, a seventh physician—a fellowship-trained hand surgeon—joining in August, a podiatrist, a physician assistant, and a comprehensive rehabilitation team. Their therapy services include a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a full-time physical therapist, and integrated physical and occupational therapy. BFOA operates across two locations in Kennewick, one in Pasco, and a dedicated surgery center.

BFOA is deeply rooted in the region and widely recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. With a strong foundation and a reputation for clinical excellence, the organization is now poised for significant expansion. As Administrator, you will work closely with the physician owners to shape strategy, optimize operations, and lead a high-performing team through this exciting period of growth.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a leader who brings:

Proven experience in physician-owned practices

A strong track record of building relationships with external medical partners

Demonstrated organizational leadership and team-building skills

Deep understanding of operations and financial management

Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Staff supervision experience and a collaborative, visible leadership style

A commitment to follow-through, accountability, and continuous improvement

Why the Tri-Cities?

The communities of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland make up the Tri-Cities area of southeast Washington, home to approximately 250,000 residents and nestled along the scenic Columbia River. With four distinct seasons, moderate temperatures, and over 300 days of sunshine annually, the region is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Residents enjoy fishing, boating, paddleboarding, hiking, biking, and golfing, with easy access to nearby mountains for skiing and snow sports in the winter.

The Tri-Cities is also a nationally recognized wine region, boasting over 300 wineries and tasting rooms throughout the Columbia Valley and Red Mountain AVAs. The area offers a vibrant mix of arts, culture, and family-friendly amenities, including museums, performing arts centers, farmers markets, and community festivals.

For families, the Tri-Cities is a hub of adventure and discovery—from riverfront parks and splash pads to science centers, nature trails, and youth sports leagues. Whether it’s a weekend kayaking trip, a hike through Badger Mountain, or a day exploring local farms and orchards, there’s no shortage of ways to stay active and connected as a family.

With a lower cost of living than many metropolitan areas, excellent schools, and a strong sense of community, the Tri-Cities offers an exceptional quality of life. And with its location just 2 to 4 hours from major Northwest cities like Spokane, Seattle, and Portland, it strikes the perfect balance between small-town charm and big-city access.
