The SWAT nurse may also be a resource when given a patient care assignment. Assigned areas may include ICU, PCU, all clinical departments and nursing administration.Essential Duties:Performs Outpatient/Inpatient procedural sedation in Diagnostic Imaging and all Inpatient Units as needed.Assesses and places PICC lines and midlines.Starts difficult intravenous insertions throughout the facility.Replaces or adjuncts unit staff due to illness, staffing shortages, etc. throughout the facility.Assists with admissions, discharges, and other patient care issues during high acuity periods throughout the facility.Assists with any special procedures and or difficult patient issues.Serves as a resource to the more novice clinician.Performs bed control, determining placement of direct admits, post-operative and emergency patients.QualificationsJob Requirements:Requires minimum of one year of RN critical care and/or emergency department work experience (within past 4 years).Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)PICC Line certification preferred.Pay Range$42.69 - $72.13 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
