Frame to Finish is a growing, local general contractor, working primarily in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Our company specializes in residential remodel work, ranging from bathrooms and kitchens, to full additions. As our company grows, we are looking to add several positions who can help us be successful through all phases of the construction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in integrity, an uncompromising drive for quality, and the ability to solve problems independently. Positions available:
Site Lead: This is still a bags-on position but you’ll be in charge of one or more projects, depending on size. Coordinate with subs and homeowners. Track schedules and budgets.
Rough Carpenter (wood focused; framing, siding, decks, windows/doors): We have several framing and projects coming up that we will also be siding in-house.
Finish Carpenter (strong background in carpentry but is proficient in additional skills such as tile, paint, drywall, etc) Trim, cabinets, fixtures, etc.
Apprentice: We are currently looking for a person or two who knows a couple things but has much to learn. This position leans laborer but we always want to promote from within. Looking for someone(s) who want to learn the remodeling trade and need somewhere to start.
Qualifications/Duties:
-Must have actual experience for the position applying for. It’s ok not to know everything. It’s not ok to find that out after schedules have been created and duties assigned.
-Coordinate with teammates and leads to efficiently complete tasks
-Keep accurate time cards, with basic notes of work performed
-MUST be willing to work in Skagit County
-Familiarity with all aspects and tools involved in remodeling, with a strong background in at least one aspect of carpentry (Carpenters/Leads)
-Valid driver’s license, ability to be approved for company insurance
-Own hand and basic battery tools. Company provides larger/specialty tools
-Punctual, organized, able to see the big picture
-Own clothes and gear for all weather conditions
-Capable of understanding and following schedules
-Familiar with local codes and sophomore aspects of engineering (Carpenters/Leads)
Compensation:
-Leads: $35-$50/hr. Carpenters: $25-$40/hr. Apprentices: $20-$25/hr
-The right candidate may receive use of a company vehicle, with gas card
-One week paid vacation, annually
