Qualified candidates must have basic carpentry, plumbing and wiring skills, as well as, experience working with hand tools, industrial tools, rigging, forklifts, etc. Responsibilities will encompass all aspects of general marine mechanics including shaft work, engine alignment and running gear, installation and repair (both mechanical and electrical) of wiring, pumps, valves, piping, plumbing, and thru-hulls.
This position requires the skills to perform general mechanical and electrical work, as well as, systems and electronics installation and repair. The ability to troubleshoot, repair and plan the installation of recreational marine electronic equipment including marine communication, navigation, computer systems and electrical systems both AC and DC is critical. Being an experienced sailor that is familiar with all the rigging and mechanical aspects of a sailing vessel is preferred but not required.
Essential Physical Functions:
Flexibility to work in the standing, squatting, or kneeling position, as well as reaching overhead with occasional twisting and bending while performing any of the above task. Climbing stairs and ladders on a regular basis is required. Ability to work in small spaces, minimal lifting required above 50 lbs.

Schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
