Jewelry Making Assistant & Farmers Market Salesperson
THIS IS A TWO-PART POSITION
1) Seeking jewelry maker’s assistant to produce earrings, necklaces and bracelets for local jewelry designer. Estimating 5 to 10 hours a week production time to start. Hours may increase with your competency and the business’ growth. You will be paid by the piece to earn $15-20+/hr when efficient.
You will take projects home to complete in the comfort of your own space, at your own pace. This is ideal for someone who enjoys quiet, individualized, and creative actives such as knitting, sewing or baking. You must have the ability to self motivate, stay focused, and work independently. Attention to detail, organization, and perfection are essential. Jewelry crafting experience is advantageous, but not required. If you are competent with small pliers and hand tools, you could do great!
2) Seeking a competent salesperson for Jo Bird Jewelry at the Bellingham Farmers Market. Training will begin July 9 or sooner. Once trained, you will set-up the jewelry stand, handle sales, pay market commission and pack up the booth independently on scheduled Saturdays. Sales experience and excellent people skills are necessary. You will be paid by the day for Saturdays.
