Monday through Thursday, 8am-6:30pm. Starts at $19 an hour. Upon completion of a 90-day introductory period, employees are eligible for healthcare, retirement, and additional benefits. Shift start and end times can be negotiated.
Job duties include the operation of a large-scale tumbling machine and the inspection of surface finishes on manufactured parts, as well as other tasks as assigned. This role requires the ability to repeatedly lift items weighing around 50 pounds and to remain standing for the majority of the workday. Furthermore, the position entails various physically demanding duties, including yard care and the cleaning and maintenance of the building.
The Finishing Technician will work closely with the QA specialist, shop foreman, and other finishing technicians.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must be inclined favorably towards firearms, and be legally able to possess firearms
-Must be able to repeatedly lift at least 50 lbs, and up to 75 Ibs occasionally
-Must be able to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time
-Must follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
-Must be able to follow directions regarding working procedures
Preferred skills:
-Can work independently and as a team member
-Strong attention to detail and quality control
-Highly self-motivated
-Manufacturing or firearm experience
