Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team and support our Business Department. The ideal candidate will have experience as a paralegal at a law firm, as well as a keen interest in working as a team with our attorneys and directly with clients. The individual in this role is often the first contact point for many of our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and file corporate governance documents, such as formation documents and board and stockholder resolutions.
Assist in the application process for all master business licenses.
Filing and obtaining employer and tax identification numbers (EINs).
Maintain and organize corporate records, minute books, and other legal documents. Draft necessary stock certificates.
Prepare and file UCC financing statements and conduct lien searches.
Draft, proofread, and incorporate redlines for contracts and deeds.
Maintain and develop electronic and hard copy filing systems and trackers.
Manage closing matters, including preparing, assembling and compiling documents in advance of closing and coordinate signature page gathering directly with client.
Communicate regularly with attorneys and clients regarding the status of projects and deadlines and inform attorneys of any issues.
Distribute draft documents to opposing counsel and clients.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the firm's clients, title insurance companies, closing agents, and other outside vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate and/or 4+ years of paralegal law firm experience.
Proficiency in Office suite, Clio, and DocuSign (or similar platforms).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Detail-oriented, proactive and adaptable with a strong work ethic.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Work Hours:
This is a non-exempt position and eligible for overtime compensation. Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Full time is 37.5 hrs./week.
After successful onboarding, a hybrid work schedule will be considered.
