Seeking a motivated, able-bodied person for a warehouse janitor position cleaning two busy facilities. This individual will work independently but will take direction from our Shipping/Receiving lead. Experience as a custodian is desired but not required. We are a factory-based construction company looking for someone who meets all of the requirements below and can work two days a week consistently, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are located in Ferndale, WA and have business hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements:
- punctual
- reliable
- own dependable transportation
- own a working smartphone
- maintain neat appearance
- can take direction and follow through on tasks to completion
- US citizen, permanent resident, or authorized to work in the United States
Job duties include:
- thoroughly cleaning and refilling bathrooms and break rooms
- disposing of garbage and recycling correctly in their respective bins
- twice a month mopping / vacuuming administrative areas
- notifying lead of needed repairs
- notifying lead of low stock on cleaning supplies
- other cleaning duties as they arise
