Job Title: Landscaping Technician
Job Summary:
As a Landscaping Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. This includes tasks such as planting, mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. You will also perform general maintenance of landscaping equipment and assist with design installations. The role requires a blend of physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Successful candidates will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that client properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow, trim, and edge lawns, ensuring uniformity and neatness.
Plant and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
Prune and trim plants, shrubs, and trees to maintain their health and appearance.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to safety protocols.
Install mulch, gravel, and other landscaping materials.
Design and implement landscape improvements or modifications as required.
Maintain and operate landscaping equipment and tools safely.
Perform general yard maintenance, including clearing debris and managing waste.
Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and provide updates on work progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques and horticulture.
Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail with an eye for design and aesthetics.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle hazardous materials.
Prior landscaping experience of at least 2 years is required.
Current drivers license and a copy of current driving abstract are required
Must be on time and DEPENDABLE
Reliable transportation to job sites
Work Environment:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Regular lifting, bending, and physical labor.
Team-based or independent work depending on job needs.
