Janitor/Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a long-term dedicated employee to replace our beloved janitor who will be retiring after 25 years.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, meeting rooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Conduct floor care including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and buffing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs and painting
- Handle commercial and industrial cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and orderly environment
- Support overall building maintenance by addressing minor issues promptly
- Act as night and weekend security when on-site.
- Occasional office painting and outdoor landscaping.
- Communication is imperative to our operations, so writing and speaking English is necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment
- Experience in industrial cleaning is beneficial
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Previous experience working in a commercial office building with professionals of all backgrounds
Job Type: Part-time Preferred
Expected hours: 26-32 per week (Schedule TBD and will be discussed more with qualified candidates)
