Mt. Baker Rim Community Club in Glacier is currently seeking a Full Time Grounds and Maintenance Manager. Compensation: $27-$35/ hr. DOE
We welcome those who have at least 2 years of grounds and maintenance experience; management experience is preferred. Bonus points if you have pool maintenance experience and can operate a small snowplow. We will also provide training as required.
The right candidate has the following qualities:
- Comfortable taking initiative to get work done
- Have a professional attitude with an even temperament
- Able to be efficient with their time and tasks
- Works well with others
- Good communication skills
It is also imperative that you can handle yourself professionally during phone calls, emails, and in person.
Some of the required physical duties include:
- Lawn care (i.e. mowing)
- Leaf blowing, tree and bush trimming
- Maintaining the health of plants and trees on our property
- Maintain the roads in our community (clearing branches, etc.)
- Pool maintenance in the summer and snow plowing the in the winter
- Keeping our clubhouse clean (opening/closing in the AM and/or PM)
- Other various grounds and maintenance duties as needed
Some of the clerical duties include:
- Write up and submit monthly status reports
- Holding weekly meetings with Ground and Maintenance staff
- Coordinate with our Community Manager for purchases and other tasks as needed.
Compensation:
- $27 - $35 per hour depending on experience
Hours:
- 30 – 40 hours per week
- Some weekends and holidays may be required.
Benefits:
- Accrued time off (vacation and sick time).
- Health insurance stipend for staff that work at least 30 hours/week
