Our real estate company recently moved operations to the Birch Bay area, and we are looking for a skilled and reliable gardener to maintain and elevate the landscape of a waterfront compound. This is a physically demanding job, as the property is located on the Bluffs, requiring frequent movement up and down stairs.
The property serves as both a home and business, welcoming high-profile clients and guests. We need someone to keep the grounds meticulously manicured and professionally designed. We are looking for a full time groundskeeper to keep the maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Garden redesign: Lead the transformation of the landscape, creating an elegant and intricate garden with elaborate flower and tree designs.
Water feature installation: Install and maintain water fountains and other water features that enhance the beauty and tranquility of the property.
Seasonal adaptability: Manage the garden to thrive throughout the year, ensuring it evolves beautifully with the changing seasons.
Maintenance: Provide regular, detailed upkeep to maintain the highest standards for client and guest visits.
On-site work: Must be available to work a minimum of three times a week, keeping the grounds in pristine condition at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience in high-end garden and landscape design, with a portfolio showcasing your past work.
Strong knowledge of seasonal planting and garden maintenance to ensure the property flourishes year-round.
Ability to design and execute elaborate flower and tree arrangements.
Experience with installing and maintaining water features.
Self-starter: Must be able to work independently and anticipate the property’s needs.
Physically fit: Able to handle the demands of working on the Bluffs, with frequent stair navigation required.
Must have a truck for transporting supplies from the garden center.
References will be required and checked.
Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Compensation: $200 per day, with full-time or part-time availability based on qualifications.
