Visiting Angels values our caregivers for their ability to enrich the lives of others. Visiting Angels offers non-medical home care services to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living. As a caregiver with Visiting Angels, you will benefit from years of our expertise in providing professional, and compassionate home care to seniors and disabled Indvidual's in the community.
Hours:
We have an immediate need for 12-hour day and night shifts.
Weekends - we have a variety of schedules available on the weekends, such as 2–4-hour shifts, 8-hour day shifts, and 12-hour day/night shifts.
Short Shifts - we have a need for caregivers to work with us in building a stackable short shift schedule. Short shift schedules range from 1–4-hour shifts that pay starting at $23/hr. Caregivers also get compensated for their travel time between these shifts.
Location: Whatcom County
Depending on your skill and comfort, duties include:
Companionship
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Transfer assistance
Mobility assistance
Personal care assistance
Medication assistance
Pet Care
Transportation
Dementia and Alzheimer care
Developmentally disabled care
End-of-life care
Pay Scale:
Active HCA/CNA: starts at $20/hr
Passed HCA/CNA course, waiting on state exam: starts at $19/hr
In training for HCA, Visiting Angels pays for tuition assistance: $18/hr

Qualifications:
We believe that a caregivers love for building relationships with their clients is just as important as their professional qualifications. We are looking for positive, hardworking people, who are passionate about caring for others.
WA state does require an HCA, CNA or LPN license to be a caregiver. If you uncertified we offer HCA training courses and tuition assistance for that program.
