OVN is hiring for the position of bartender, with the potential to grow into a supervisory or management role.
We’re looking for an experienced bartender who has worked with craft cocktails and has a passion for hospitality.
Experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or manager is preferred.

- Bartender
-work 3-5 bar shifts per week (18-30+ hrs) - at least one of Fri/Sat PM
-act as option "on deck" for bar shifts that are not able to be covered otherwise- alternating with FoH Supervisor team
-eligible for Admin rate for off-site or extra-shift admin work ie. inventory
- Scheduled as PIC for AM shifts when working solo. Paid at PIC rate.
- training on all FOH roles, eligible for server/host/expo shifts
requirements:
Class 12 MAST and food handlers permit within 2 weeks of hire
Experience making craft cocktails in a busy environment, reading cocktail recipes, and taking tables
This position will train up on Server, Expo and Host duties

once trained: bar shifts @ $17.28, server shifts @ $17.28, expo/host shifts @ $17.78, PIC shifts $18.78
Tips: - hybrd direct tipout + tip-pool:
- Tips are paid out in cash on a weekly basis. Bartenders keep a portion of direct tips, plus receive a tipout from online orders and from dining room staff based on alcohol sales. Avg tipout is $19/hr.
