We are hiring a part-time Line Cook/Dishwasher. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and prepare menu items accurately and efficiently; strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
We are a tight-knit team looking for a motivated and experienced addition to our crew. We have 12 rotating taps, craft cocktails, wine, and a Mediterranean tapas-style menu. We aim to create a fun and positive work environment. We are looking for someone with a friendly and professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Those with BOH experience are strongly encouraged to apply, but we are willing to train the right fit!
Evening and weekend availability required. Minimum wage + tips ($7-$10 per hour on average).
Responsibilities:
Determine prep list and execute
Prepare all food orders in a timely manner
Clean kitchen and guest dishes
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure all supplies are stocked
Assist FOH staff with bussing and glassware when necessary
Complete kitchen closing task lists to ensure equipment and food are properly cleaned and stored
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a BOH position preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds
Must obtain Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of hire date
