Gunners Tex Mex BBQ is a 1 year old restaurant dedicated to serving up the best BBQ in town. With a focus on fresh quality, flavor, and excellent customer service, we pride ourselves on creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Kitchen Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the kitchen, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and according to recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Food safety certification is a plus
- Passion for BBQ and creating delicious food
