We are a local Coffee Roaster seeking a friendly and outgoing vendor for our booth at the Bellingham Farmers Market on Saturdays this Winter market Feb 15, March 15 & Spring/Summer/Fall every Saturday until Dec 20th. Training week Feb 3rd.
Must have a Valid Washington State Driver’s License and willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate. Must be 21yeas old.
This is an active role that requires responsibility, reliability, and a personable individual with a happy demeanor. This is a customer facing role at our busy Saturday Market. After set up, will sell retail bags of coffee, company merchandise, and serve cold brew using a point of sale system. A prime candidate will:
- Have a great attitude, eagerness to learn about our coffee
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs for market set up and break down
- Have a clean driving record
- Drive the company van, unload/load booth
- Obtain a Washington Food Handlers Permit
- Reliable for vending on Saturdays (see above)
- Ability to work independently and in alignment with our values of sustainability and transparency
- Handle product sales, payments, and inquiries with integrity
- Strong communication skills and a personable, approachable nature
