Whatcom Community College welcomes applications for a part-time, adjunct instructor in our High School Completion (HS+) program beginning summer quarter 2025 and to expand the pool of instructors for future positions that may occur. -High School Completion (HS+) (5 credit) fully online.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Master's degree in Adult Education, or a closely related field.
-Prior experience teaching adult learners or teaching high school.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Teaching experience in the field of adult basic education.
-Strong knowledge of High School content and requirements.
Salary
-$1179.81 per course credit.
Benefit Package:
-Accrues a percentage of 7 hours (equal to the percentage of workload) per month of sick leave (ex. 50% quarterly employment contract x 7 hrs for full-time = 3.5 hrs per month for that quarter).
Start Date:
-Summer quarter 2025.
